Ranabhat Ornamental Pathology Lab’s research and extension efforts primarily focus on developing educational programs and conducting applied research in sustainable plant disease management. This is achieved through understanding the interactions of host-pathogen-vector with their environment and early and accurate disease diagnosis. The program’s main priority is to support ornamental plants, nursery plants and turf growers in the State of Tennessee through collaborative research, extension activities and close cooperation with extension agents and specialists.
The main purpose of this website is to provide resources on plant health problems caused by microbial pathogens, nematodes, and abiotic stresses affecting ornamental plants, nursery plants, and turf grass. The targeted audiences include extensions agents and all interested clientele in green industry.
